I'm a screen reader user and my screen reader doesn't read this to me also doesn't report on a image labeled "gray x" I suggest you change this.
Sorry about that, not really sure how optimised our site is for screen reading. I'll see what our website team can do.
A bit further down the page we do mention that we can only manage the DSL portion of the line and not the voice portion
I'm really not sure, I guess it's how the DSLAM reports this on Telkom's end.
Not sure when the Afrigreen accounts are being removed, it shouldn't hinder anything on your account though

Why should it be removed? I prefer using it as I don't have to mess with my router again, also prefer not having to remember if it was .co.za or .com
Ja no issue at all here. Also, why is it that telkom do not move everyone on 20mbps from ADSL2+ to VDSL? I had to really fight with them to change it over a while back... and it was running on adsl for over a year so i was not getting full speed for ages until just a month ago. You guys need your own network, I am sure it will be much better organized than telkom...

It depends on what the area can support and if Telkom have rolled out any MSANs. No MSANs = no VDSL
True, although i was wondering is that account tied to your number? So both only work on your own number? I guess so otherwise we would be sharing them out like there is no tomorrow...
The @afrigreen account is just an alias for your main account at this stage.
Those MSANs can support multiple modulation types though. I was connected to a MSAN for ages but was on ADSL2+ modulation. I phoned telkom and they literally took 1 minute and changed it over to VDSL but the difficult part is getting someone to do that as most of them will just say they cannot do it for some odd reason.

With my 1GB account, I can download alot of music
Looking at 4 MB ADSL speed, will be used for streaming and general internet browsing, no gaming, no heavy downloading, what will you guys recommend, 100 GB capped or a home uncapped account? The price difference is less than R50, I doubt whether the person will use 100 GB per month even if on uncapped.
My first thought is that capped will be better, no throttling, no restrictions?

Are you a NOOB or do you have some history to work on?
Is anyone else having problems with torrents? Mine starts, goes at full speed, after 30 seconds dies and bobs along at 2kb/s. (I'm on a 2mb capped line). If I stop and start it it goes full speed then dies again. Been doing this for a few days now.
No torrent issues my side. Getting line speed on all P2P downloads.
