Where you able to grab some tests to see where the issues came in?

Can't run any test if the connection is stone dead.

My family wanted to watch a particular movie, so I switched back to the Afrihost account to download it. Low and behold, the connection died after about 2 minutes. So I just had to switch back to the prepaid account, tell my family we can't watch it and accept a ribbing for being the guy with a 100Mbps connection but unable to download a movie.

Pretty sure this is the last straw with these disconnects. Hasn't occurred once on any other ISP. Going to have to submit cancellation over this.

There aren't any auth issues from our end, so sounds like a line issue off the bat?
Was the line able to sync?

Has Afrihost's Critical Care team even contacted you or?
 
No communication from them.

I see our team was in touch both on 8 and 11 April though?

Can't say I ever check the Clientzone for messages. Could they not have just called me? I'll check the messages when I'm at my PC again.

Dafuq is up in Cape Town? Alles is dead slow almost halfway vrek! Cant even stream Simfy!

OT:Playing League with 175-180ms for the first time in months during peak, thanks for your sacrifice :p

Please post some tracerts for them to check out next Monday, one to mybroadband.co.za and one international site, e.g. vienna.at

I definitely have no missed calls from a random unidentified number. I replied to the ticket on the Clientzone though. Hopefully something comes of it.
 
Can someone have 2 Afrihost mobile data sim cards on his one account, and what happens if then adding Afrihost plus?
The situation is basically husband and wife looking for a internet solution, a ADSL account for home but then the 2 of them also want a USB modem with mobile data for when they are on the go.

2. You can add one AH+ perk to one product, but can decide which product receives what perk.
 
Any one else getting 129.232.196.39/40 as their DNS server?

That's a Hetzner server.

Open cmb.exe and type: "nslookup google.com 129.232.196.39"

If you're with Afrihost, why are you getting that as your DNS? Manually set it to something else like 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4
