Afrihost. No B618 Stock

At first I was afraid
I was petrified

A b618 for free on Afrihost initially.
Then they change it by starting to charge R999

Now stock issues. 6 to 8 weeks waiting period.

Is this a standard Afrihost issue or just a B618 lack of stock issues?

Have applied via my current isp MWEB - they are offering it free of charge.
When converting from adsl to LTE-A.

Any comments on mweb as LTEA Service Provider will be appreciated.....

Been running MWEB for 6 weeks and service has been flawless. Averaging about 35mbps down and 15up.

Avoid Afrihost at any and all costs.

1st of all it is the RAIN network

Mweb, Afrihost and all the other ISP's are resellers of the RAIN product

For any issues with the network, youre contact will be the isp you purchased it from

Just FYI, even Mweb website indicates that B315 & B618 is currently out of stock.


So to answer your question: no it is not an Afrihost issue.

Correct, Afrihost are just resellers but u have to give them a thumbs up as they were first to give u the router for free.. Then webafrica followed.

The fact u paying just a R1000 for the router is a bargain. I also ordered but unfortunately have to wait as well
