Not sounding as positive. :( Sorry if I'm making you double post results here (I am the new guy after all) but what download speeds are you getting compared to your line speed profile?

It's cool. When my Afrigreen works perfectly I get around 8mbps on speed test and downloading averaging around 1mbps (Same I get with my web africa account)

Now I'm getting between 5-6mbps on speed test. Downloading averaging around 700-800kbps.

While those speeds aren't bad. When I am downloading a file I can't do *ANY* browsing at all.

This happened all of yesterday as well, till late at night when my download speeds dropped to around 300kbps and then I was able to browse and download simultaneously.

Interesting... I've reset your account from my side, could you possibly restart your modem quickly, and test if there is any change.

Hey, I restarted my modem.

And it's still the same. Speed test 5-6mbps. Downloading around 700-800kbps

When downloading unable to do any browsing to any website. Just ERR_Timed out.

Hey this sounds like it could be a modem problem? Have you tried testing with another ISP? Also try with a different browser?

Sounds like your bandwidth might be maxed out by the download, are you referring to torrents?

I've tried with my web africa account and with that account I get full speed. 8mbps speed test and 1mbps download speed.

Nope. Referring to any http download.

As I mentioned above. I don't have the same issue with my web africa account. That works fine.

That is a weird one. Send me a PM with your account details, would love to see if something jumps out at me.

Ive also noticed this, I thought it was how win 10 handles incoming traffic then you posted the same issue,

Back on the Vanilla account I could max out my line speed via a game update and still browse the web, but now I literally cant even open google (or any other websites).

Kind of glad I'm not the only one having this issue.

Interesting. Does the same apply when you switch back to the original network now whilst running Win 10?

I have tried the Afrigreen network today for the first time and out of desperation. All was ok until about 13:00 when everything went pear shaped. Normal downloads slowed to dialup modem speeds and Windows Updates just sit there. When you connect your computer using another ISP, things run at full speed again. I am not sure what to say anymore, I really do not want to pull the plug on Afrihost but we cannot even use half our bandwidth a month due to poor network performance.

I know our team are still busy ironing out a couple of bugs from the weekend. But general performance should not be so greatly affected. I've done some resets on your account, would you mind restarting your router and test again? :)

Getting a "Too many redirects" error when browsing to reddit.com on my Afrigreen. Regular account works fine.

:(

That's disappointing to hear... I'll pass it onto our Team, we've been looking into ways to optimize international traffic, so we'll definitely need to look into this.
