Afrihost POC Network - Afrigreen Feedback

My Afrigreen account is connecting but no data throughput. Reverted to @afrihost account and thats working.
 
are you aware of any DNS problems on Afrigreen network? I"m getting DNS timeouts from both 169.1.1.1 and 169.1.1.2

$ nslookup
> server 169.1.1.1
Default server: 169.1.1.1
Address: 169.1.1.1#53
> www.*******.co.za
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
> server 169.1.1.2
Default server: 169.1.1.2

Yup i had to switch to google dns
 
So what's happening with your DNS server? Getting DNS probe errors and "name not resolved" errors. Changed to Google DNS and it's fine. Changed back to Auto DNS and it's borked.

Our Team had to make a quick change on their side, Afrigreen will be back to normal in a moment.

I asked on Friday but I think you missed it when you went off for the night. Have we all been moved now or is the team still preparing? I'm noticed over the weekend that torrents weren't broken for the first time in 2 weeks. I'm going to assume that we have been moved?

The migration over to Afrigreen has indeed begun, but it is a complex process, and we're not quite done yet. But in all likelihood you will be seeing significantly improved performance. :) ^E
 
Is it possible for me to leave my line with AH and just cancel the data portion? I DON'T trust Telkom's ability to migrate the line.

That is definitely possible yes, are you migrating the line to a new premises?
 
The Afrigreen DNS should be back up and running now. Can you guys please test and advise on any hiccups or strange DNS results.
 
only getting 2mb on my 10mb line with afrihsot, its been like this for the past week or 2
