afrigreen has been up and completely down frequently for the last hour.
Odd
Could you PM me your details so I can take a closer look at what's happening?

OddI've been running a few tests on my end and it seems pretty solid.

AfriGuy, it's not solid, youtube on my end either auto detects to 240p or 480p....
It may be solid for you but that doesn't mean it's the same experience for everyone else...
EDIT - I have pause a 1080p video so it doesn't buffer
/snip
HD buffers for me, including other videos.
What connection speed is being displayed on stats for nerds?
Question, what did a afrihost do with that R500 million from the MTN deal go? If I was AH I would have taken that money and invested it back into to MTN to buy more fibre backbone capacity etc.
Well, it's not constant, it jumps around a lot, so anywhere between 1800 - 5800kbps
Seems like content is being pulled down internationally, I'll have our guys check it out.
Was it working better yesterday?
No, it wasn't, I did post about it last night....

Seeing much better throughput now, can you test a few vids again please?
Hey guys
We're running similar tests to what we did yesterday. All your services will remain unaffected except P2P - may be a bit up and down. We're running the tests and tweaks now, I'll confirm when they will run until.
We've also picked up dropped packets and slightly higher latency on our - our network guys are tackling this![]()
Im seeing poor speeds on my vanilla account, is that also affected?
It should definitely not be, the original Afrihost accounts are running on a completely separate network infrastructure.
Are you seeing the reduced throughput on DC++ or on another service?
Ill switch over to the relevant thread and tell you.
