http downloads going slow for me right now. Was fine earlier today at 1mbps but now averaging about 100kbps

Hey AfriGenie,

I'm sorta pulling my hair out atm. I'm trying to play FTB Infinity (modded Minecraft) and on afrigreen the launcher is simply failing. I've tried changing DNS to no avail it still crashes (from what I can tell its a connectivity timeout but the logs are not terribly verbose).

If I switch over to Afri Business 0 problems and a much better ping than I was getting before (163ms vs 250ms on afrigreen)

The launcher can be grabbed here http://ftb.cursecdn.com/FTB2/launcher/FTB_Launcher.exe

This worked perfectly up to 1am this morning when I turned in and now is failing.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

We had to make a few updates from our side, we should see the starts back to normal ASAP.

Nothing has improved regarding downloads from my side, running at about 1/10th line speed.

Maybe the last hour or so, was running fine before that.

Ah! Okay, that explains it. You should see the speeds improve soon, we just had to make some changes before leaving AfriGreen as is for the long weekend. :)

Just to let you know, AfriGreen has been a joy this last week, keep it up guys. :)

I'm experiencing the same with browsing and resolution of DNS names on AfriGreen in Cape Town

Are you'll still working on the changes to the network because speeds aren't good at the moment.

Here are my results for the Afrigreen network in Cape Town northern suburbs as of a minute ago - ping again far over 100 ms and down speed 1.49 Mbps on a 10 Mbps line - is there anything that can be done about this AfriGenie / AfriGuy ?

Last Result:
