EDIT: Coolios, just chatted to the team - we'll reach out to them to have this sorted. Looks like they're seeing the Afrigreen IP range as outside SA. Tested this on Mobile and @afrihost.co.za accounts and working there :)

Is bras.afrihost.com the equivalent of my exchange or is it the name of Afrihosts’ DNS server?

Looks like everything I've said about this company has come true... Seems like Afrihost is always late to the party these days.

We shouldn't be seeing latency on the network now, looks like the increases are coming in at your exchange though :(
 
Most days I'd rather just stay at work than have to come home and have to try struggle with Afrihost/Afrigreen. I've got a 50GB account, I used maybe 40GB of that a month. I don't download a lot, I just want my internet to work :( honestly going to jump ship soon now, I've stayed longer than most but this is not getting better any time soon.

Sorry to hear :( Are there any tests you can post here? Shouldn't be any issues at the moment.

Urgh, sorry man :( Been a long day!
The only changes we ran today are Google link tweaks here and there - not sure if this would have an overall affect, looks like the IP ranges where switched from ns0.neotel.co.za to ipc-tx-a-access.afrihost.co.za there.

Thanks for updating :) Would you be able to paste a few pings or traceroutes to these sites when you notice this again?
I haven't seen issues on these sites recently.

Hop 2 and 3 change constantly, every minute or so. And I notice it because traffic drops when it changes. Just like two weekends ago.

Happening across all 6 of my dsl lines with Afrigreen
 
You guy's might want to fix your connection to ShowMax. It says it's not available in my country when on Afrigreen. But it's fine on WebAfrica.

Apologies for the inconvenience, I would advise that you try to speak to Afrihost as your IP range might be out of what we support.
