Deleting and recreating your network connection will probably not fix the fault. You should learn to live without the download manger as it is obviously the reason for your browsing woes.
The fact that it only affect your Afrihost account could be due to the load balancer they employ which frequently changes your routing.
Alternatively you could experiment with another download manager until you find one that will work with the Afrihost account.

Isn't it strange that up until just couple weeks ago I had no issues with downloading through the download manager and browsing.
