Everything has been running really slow.

Ping seems fine, however.

Interesting, how is it testing for you this morning?

Just want to let you guys know. As of 4 hours ago, YouTube Gaming (Google's Twitch-like offering) has been set for worldwide release for today.

Hope the network is ready. Hopefully streams are served from Google CDNs so you guys don't have to do much.

I'm well aware of that, YouTube Gaming is going to be really cool! We've got it covered, but please let me know if you come across any issues! :)

Sorry app download at Afrihost was 230kb/s and webafrica 630 Kb/s full line speed this happen every evening when you going home and no support happen

So does your D/L speed only drop during the evenings? I find that a little strange I must be honest... Send me a PM with your account details and I'll have a look at your sessions. :)

Even us reps have to sleep sometimes. ;)

Sorry I'm paying for a product with is not working for 4 month and you testing not when all using the system I logged a problem at a Saturday
And I only get reply the next working day with was a Tuesday afternoon
With stupid answers with no pop in Cape Town but it worked a week before
you during changes in evening ore before weekend
And then going home
I'm not impressed with the support I'm a network admin myself when I not get a problem resolved in one day the production stand still

I'll be happy to follow up and escalate any tickets that you may have submitted.

Not sure what you mean by "no pop in Capetown" though, but I'll gladly look into that some more. :)

Thanks for sending me the PM with your account details, I'll reply to you further via PM as well.

We did not have any general issues around PE yesterday. How is it testing for you today?
The only hiccup I had yesterdays was with speed tests which started high and then dropped to almost half the line speed. Latency was normal.
Downloads, YouTube and browsing were not affected.

Twitch is literal garbage at the moment. Even medium on a 4mbit line is buffering every few seconds. It's a past broadcast too.

Interesting, sounds anomalous. :wtf: Did you try multiple speedtest sites? How is it testing today?

That's weird, I've just tested Twitch on my side on Afrigreen and it seems to be running quite well. Have you tested any other streaming services?

Firstly, AfriFella? I'm seeing a theme here in the naming convention. :D
Does it make a difference that I'm viewing Twitch on the mobile app? Youtube seems to be fine on the device.

Here's an image with a network graph from an app showing speed. Notice the spikes when using Twitch. Max is ~240KB/s. YouTube has no issue.

Haha indeed! Nice to meet you! :p

I can see the spikes you are referring to but I'm not aware of any difference between Twitch on mobile or in a browser. There shouldn't be a difference...

Actually, out of interest and if at all possible, would you be able to stream Twitch on your PC to see if you have the same issue?

I just tried on my PC. Seems to have the same issue. The max on the highest spike is ~2600kbit.
