The Mrs. gave up in frustration and said she will do it in her office this morning, so I just reported it here and moved on.

Cool, we've contacted them to add our block to their GeoIP Database.

We've asked all the common providers to add us to their GeoIP databases but their is bound to be some stragglers here and there. We appreciate the feedback. This is why this forum was set up! :)
 
I'll try find out if there are any known issues with Twitch at the moment.

I reset my router just in case. Same thing.
On YT Gaming. From what I've seen so far in articles. Oh, yes.

Nothing to report on Twitch at the moment, will let you know as soon as I have more info. :)

Can't wait for the launch either!

We'll need to troubleshoot your Twitch experience a bit more. :) First of all, I'd like you to try a different web browser. If you're using Chrome switch over to Firefox (or vice versa) and let me know if anything improved. :)
 
They where still online when they replied they would check if there was any issues in the PE area so don't get sarcastic with me! Also I pay for a service that promise 24/7 support!

It really does not help asking me that question during the day when I'm at the office the problems are at home!

Listen mate I run my own business and I don't leave my customers hanging if they have a problem because I have to sleep that is what Afrihost is best at these days!

We definitely do offer 24 Hour Support, our Support Team is available at any time of day or night.

I'll always try to make sure to get the most up to date information possible for you, but at that time of night getting any updates from Telkom and our Team working on AfriGreen does unfortunately take some time.

Alright so I stopped watching for a bit. Starting this clip (http://www.twitch.tv/northernlion/v/12615859) in Chrome. Issues. Buffering and the connection just couldn't be bothered for a few seconds.
Now, I tried MS Edge for a bit (not installing FireFox :sick:). The difference here is that Edge forces Twitch to use HTML5 whereas FF and chrome apparently still defaults to Flash Twitch. Even though Edge uses HTML5 it still has buffering issues.

EDIT: Tried in IE11. Same thing. Just to explain the issue I'm seeing. Buffering happens due to the connection dropping. Same as before. Seems Twitch is demand-based with bandwidth and then drops connection. Unlike YouTube which uses full-line speed and then when enough is in buffer. Bandwidth is halted.

Hmmm, that is very strange. We've tested from multiple connections and ADSL line speeds on our side, and Twitch is running quite smoothly on High and Source quality.

Are you noticing performance issues with any other streaming services?

Tried YouTube. Watching my network usage and it's constant fullspeed with no drops. Twitch never does that and never has. I'll PM you now now.
 
Something not very lekker at all with AfriGreen in Cape Town this afternoon
(I have removed VPN or non-standard DNS configurations for the purposes of the speed test)

Last Result:
Download Speed: 982 kbps (122.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 367 kbps (45.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 82 ms

Last Night in PE was a problem downloading from the Apple Appstore i only get 230 kb?s download speed webafrica speed was 630 kb/s this was a 15 Gig Logic X update
I post the problem at 19:54 get a reply from AfriGenie

We've already submitted the request for the AfriGreen IPs to be added, the Site Admins should have our AfriGreen IPs added shortly.

If it were but that easy! Those guys are actually very quick at finding and geo-locating new IP ranges.
