Was having issues last night, wanted to try Twitch again, and I was on the default account, twitch refuses to even stream, decided to switch back to Agrireen, and the twitch stream worked almost 100% for the entire stream which was an hour. First time this has happened. Lets hope it remains like this.

I must admit - my line has been running pretty stable recently. Netflix, no issue, gaming no issue, FB no issue, YT no issue. As long as I don't try to do more than any one of those at the same time, that it. :)

Are you guys having issues with facebook ? ... I can't browse it at all, pages just time out ...

Not as far as I know but let me confirm with the guys so they can test on the network.

Twitch has been mostly good in my tests since we started on AfriGreen. It's one of the services we're using to benchmark performance :)

You should be able to run some services at the same time. I've done some tests with YouTube while torrents are running, or YouTube and Skype running, console gaming with YouTube running and it works pretty well so far.

I've had similar bad browsing experience with Facebook on Afrigreen lately... but to be fair, I've had similarly bad (intermittent) experience on the Afrihost network too.

Can you also confirm that you can't browse Facebook right now?

Erm, then there might be a problem.

If my wife accesses FB I get MASSIVE lag spikes. I am talking spiking to 2000+m/s to local Dota servers. It doesn't last long (<30s), but it is there. Then depending what she does on FB, I get delays and interruptions (timeouts on the server).

Trying to play Minecraft FTB and getting huge latency spikes like I was weeks ago again.

Can you please send myself or AfriMan a PM with your account details, we'll need to check what is happening on your account with regards to Facebook.

Since it's friday and things are slow - can anyone explain where the AfriVanilla nickname came from on our MTN network?

Been seeing the references and I can't make the connection. Could be because I've eaten too many KFC dunked wings today :(

It's an IT thing. Vanilla (as in vanilla ice cream) is the standard default flavor with nothing added. Usually refers to software that has not been configured past the standard settings.

Hope this makes sense :)

Wowzers!! YouTube was back to normal last night. Veritably f.l.y.i.n.g. What a pleasure.
Pushed 17mbps with ease.
Will post an update tonight. Let's hope it
