Afrihost POC Network - Afrigreen Feedback

Hey guys

Just a heads up, we're running a few tests and tweaks on Afrigreen now. Realtime services aren't expected to be affected but P2P may be degraded.
I'll post updates when they're available :)

Not sure if it related but I keep losing connection to the net.
The modem still reports that I'm connected but I need to reset the modem to get browsing again. Same for afrigreen and afrihost.
 
Test results are good though, but there's no possibility of gaming due to losing connection.

Hhhmm, it shouldn't do.
Has this been happening before today?

If it's across both accounts there may be another issue here. Drop me a PM with your DSL username and I can check out some logs for you :)

Just a quick question about Afrihost Plus+.

I have selected accounts with the Two for One Topups etc.... but cannot see this being implemented apart from the Simfy subscriptions.

If I choose topups on the the linked Plus+ accounts, it does not seem to reflect the linked benefits.

I am hope I am just missing something, which knowing me is more than likely... but I would just like confirmation if this is the case.

With AfriGreen performing so nicely, we are burning through data and topping up WILL occur... so just need to check!

Is AfriBlue a no show?
Looks like you guys are leaning towards AfriGreen?

Why I ask is, AfriGreen has never given me better results than AfriVanilla.
It worked maybe 3 days out of the 2 weeks I tested it.

It is behind schedule, but we're continuing to make really good strives forward on Afrigreen. I don't have any dates available though.
Would you be able to paste some results here, or have the data submitted via ClientZone? We've generally seen really good feedback on Afrigreen.

Like I said way back when, I did submit as much information as I could via ClientZone as I did want to help, "did" being the operative word here.

But when I started getting one line responses like below I stopped.

"This was since resolved!" and "Throughput on the AfriGreen has not been an issue" and "Could you kindly test again"

I know the guys are busy, but hells bells does any of above answer my questions?
Also I did submit speedtests and Trace Routes and all sorts, but they ask for them any way, almost as if they did not read what I wrote.

I am very reluctant to switch over to AfriGreen, reading the comments here it seems to be a mixed bag.

What was the question? I'll happily answer them here.
I seem to recall you testing very early on - things have improved since then. I think the recent feedback in the thread is a testament to that.

Sorry - had to reset the modem again to post the pm - you should have it now.
