Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

There is normal support via WhatsApp and email this is I would say not the official general support but for more intricate issues
It was when afrinatic was around. I suspect these issues are caused by liquid backbone and there’s nothing they can do about it. I remember when they switched to openserve and things were much better. It would explain the radio silence too.

Makes sense, all the services I have issues with is via JHB and I am in Durban, Netflix works with no issues as the CDN is in Durban, warp also resolves in Durban. Youtube, Disney+, Steam, Epic games all in JHB.... Seems your theory on the Liquid transit is correct.

Anyone else with an enormous amount of packet loss as of late. I cannot do video calls on my 200mbps package for the last 2 weeks?

I am unable to play COD/Warzone. Keep getting a connection error, but when using phone Hotspot, it works. Thinking this might be a CGNAT problem but not sure how to check.
All other games work fine.
I'm on Frogfoot.

And ping use to be 7-8ms, but now using the Hotspot to connect and then switch to Fibre switch trick, it is 12ms

@Afrigirl @AfriGuy

I'm on MFN in Pretoria East, getting consistent disconnects almost on a daily basis. Last for about 10 mins, but is very disruptive. ONT device shows internet is green - yet there is no internet connection. Quite disruptive as I dc from online games and also from meetings.

I experienced downtime last night (right after the boks game) and another this morning at 07:30.

@MaddyJ might experience similar issues since we are both in Pretoria East.

Has anyone been experiencing incredibly poor international upload rates on Openserve ?

Have no problem getting 100/100 on local but I'm lucky if I get 10 up on international.
