Hi all,

Anyone know how I can see the usage split between paid for GBs and after-hours GBs?

I share an account with my parents and simply knowing that they used 50GBs in one day doesn't tell me if they're using actual cap or using free GBs, so I never know who to blame for using up the cap....

Do you mean something like this?

And maybe you should create a separate data profile for your parents. Also the client zone shows you how much data is used per ADSL number.

The issue is that there's no breakdown per ADSL number. You can get the raw logs but the raw logs have no indication of what's in cap and what's after-hours free GB.

If I create a separate ADSL profile for my parents, they don't benefit from the price reduction on the cap I have (300GB with Afrihost Plus+ = 600GB = R1,16 per GB)

The afrihost android app shows the split...Better still is networx https://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/manual/?lang=English. with this you can see everything that goes through your router on an hourly basis or daily etc.

Afrihost app is no different, sadly Networx doesn't really solve either as I'd have to monitor all three connections to get meaningful output. Suppose that could be setup quite easily though.

Does Networx handle for the after-hours bandwidth usage? If it uses SNMP it can only get the total TX/RX and compare to a previous period so doubtful it can handle the split.
