Afrihost throttling speeds?

Probably more did you, forget about last months internet "Black Out"? We'll probably see an improvements from last month in the overall download stats
 
Something is up with Afrihost today. On a 2gig capped account and a 4meg line and getting some seriously slow speeds. Speeds were fine yesterday.. today its just unbearable.
 
I've been getting some ****ty speeds lately on 4mb uncapped, this will be my last month with afrihost.

40kb+ on 512K A/C and man, got it good this side.....
 
Afrihost is Throttling me to death ..... been throttled to 5kbps since the 16 Sept and my usage is only 14.722 GB on my 384 account!! What n joke. Just to think I made the effort to recommend them to my friends, what a huge mistake!
 
things were going pretty ****ty since i was moved onto the IS account. as soon as i chose to cancel my uncapped 512 the speeds have suddenly improved on http and torrents aren't so bad either.

how many reports? and how hard is it for a company to detect MASSIVE speed and latency problems? how hard??
i mean seriously, if i was offering a service like that i would surely check the speed and latency hourly?

maybe im missing something here, where they cant just do that, maybe im living in a world where service exists :(
