That I don't actually know. I think it a pure coincidence that my fault got raised a week before they started doing the line upgrades in my area. I do think that the fact they were made aware of a previously unknown congested dslam it was put as a task to repair though. So I'd say it was open maybe 6 working days? On Monday my problems disappeared
The area "faults" are still open - which indicated that Telkom are still in the area working on some of the slams and exchanges. I'm still holding out for a dslam upgrade to 10mb(wishful thinking but oh well)
