I am so frustrated with Afrihost right now! I am on a 4mb uncapped and my shaping is currently at 50 percent. I have used 149gb this month mostly with streaming. Is it worth going over to the business uncapped from Afrihost?
Always worth it
Whats your monthly average? You could possibly consider a capped account

Probably around 200gb - lots of holidays this month meant a lot of Netflix. What options are there?

In terms of capped, 100 + 100. Think it is the sane price of 4Mbps Home uncapped or 2Mbps Business uncapped.
I would say 150GB + 150GB (To be safe) @ R600. (Remember, this does not include line)
That depends on the line speed. If its 10Mbps, it would definitely be worth it! However, if its 2Mbps - it would be cheaper to get a business bundle.

@afriman I thought your bundled clients should get a better deal than unbundled clients but that doesn't seem to be the case since Afrihost are giving away double data.
I currently pay R697 PM for 100GB on 10Mbps line whereas if I changed to unbundled on your double data promo for 50GB + 50GB on 10Mbps line I would pay R598.
Why are double data promo's or cheaper rates not carried through to existing bundled clients?

If I recall correctly, they are busy discussing bundled discounts. I too agree, it's weird that its cheaper for a normal account + line compared to bundled

I saw no discount when I received my invoice this month.
I contacted support and was told if it's cheaper to unbundle then I should... So basically I must inconvenience myself & unbundle to receive a better rate that bundled clients should already be receiving. Not great customer service in my opinion.

They have been discussing them for a couple of months now!
Discounting what packages? I've seen no discounts on my invoices. Invoice for this month is R697 for 100GB, 10Mbps bundled package.
They said at least a month back that they were working out how to bring in the discounts/ double data to capped bundles, but they seem to have done absolutely nothing.
