Our Team is in the process of loading the signatures for those games as we speak, this will take a hour or two to load, but once done you guys will see a drastic improvement with the performance to your games.
 
Hi, as we are talking about games. Both my sons play Minecraft and they use the cosmicPVP server. They cannot play without Turbocharge which is obviously a problem when kids want to play for hours on end! Can you add this to the list too look at please.

We're focussing on gaming performance, so we'll definitely try to cover as many known issues as quickly as possible.

I know I'm a little out of touch on this thread. Did you confirm that Turbocharging removes the issue with Mumble?

We can definitely take a look. We may need some participation from you so we can monitor traffic while you play to see if we are acting on traffic and in what way so we can adjust.

Yup. I did.

I've tested with uncapped (max shaping), uncapped (50/50), uncapped (turbocharged), capped and WA capped.

Only with max shaping applied was mumble and gaming unplayable. On 50/50 shaping it was hardly noticeable. Turbocharged and capped is pretty much flawless...though with occasional packet loss spikes - this was pre updates. Now the performance on capped and when turbocharged is a LOT better, so well done for that. WA is flawless.

I need a quick favour, we're running some packet signature tests on Minecraft for Uncapped.

Not looking good at all, sorry about this :(
I've picked up that this line is running your capped account - there are still a lot of open sessions on the line here. I'd like to have them closed and things reset, could you PM me so we can confirm a few things first please?
 
Afri-people.

Can you please give us an update on the progress of the game profile loading? Also apps like TeamSpeak and Mumble which sends data via UDP ports etc.

Can we request a database list of what is currently supported etc? Not just to know, but also for us to be able to contact you to do tests if we have games not on that list.

Bandwidth profiles aren't loaded up that easy, they need extensive testing and monitoring.
We're doing well here though, testing lots of games and making changes wherever possible. Have you opened a ticket with the services you're seeing issues with?

No I have not.

I assumed BF4 and Mumble would have been on your list by default given how extensive the userbase is...

Can you check to see if these two are in that list of those which are loaded?

BF4 was I think.
It'll be best to have a ticket logged with all of your details so we can add it onto our internal list.

I'm not the only person who has complained about the performance of TeamSpeak and Mumble when you have shaping active. Nor games like Archage and Smite. When no shaping - perfect. When shaping is harshest...unusable.

Just got home with the kids and right now they are able to connect to their Minecraft server and play even with shaping at 18.8/6.25 so this looks like an improvement. Let me know if you still need to do any testing and I will PM my username while the kids are playing this afternoon.

Can anyone else test this please.

Using latest version of Chrome x64 and playing youtube using html 5 player - videos are shaped. Cannot get more than 25kB odd.

Forcing it to use flash player or using firefox which still uses flash by default, and youtube flies at full 440kB.

This was not a problem a week ago...

Very strange, but something I think should be checked please.
