Wow. Don't know what to say... surprised that I was able to load this page! Honestly feel like cancelling my Afrihost account right now. Sooo done with bad service, avoiding the issues and lies. Feels like I'm in parliament

Sorry to hear that :( Anything I can follow up on for you? I'd really like an opportunity to make things awesome!

Speeds have been bad for many days now! We usually have the problems sorted quickly but now we see that something is trying to be covered up and no answers are being given, so we have decided to change ISPs. If Afrihost admitted that there was a problem and didn't try to cover up with iOS and OSX updates, things might have gone differently, but with selective responses and cover ups, the transparency we thought Afrihost had is now gone.

Well I will say that this is not a positive experience but I will say this - I work with a few ISP's and more than one is having hard times with the updates pressure. ISP's won't do nothing about situation like these and overselling bandwidth is a given else no ISP would be able to give competitive prices.

I think we've been as transparent as we possibly can be, we're been actively posting on the forums and feeding info back to the relevant teams. We're always transparent :)
I know it's frustrating, but we're making really good inroads to a fix.

Please enlighten us as to when its expected to return to normal.

With the changes pushed out early this morning, I'm hoping that everything will be back to normal by this evening. We're keeping a close eye on everything though.

Hi Afrihost. I have friends who work for Afrihost. Why have you switched off access to IPC stats for your support staff? Your staff can no longer access the state of the overall network any longer. The change happened in the last 48 hours. Why would you suddenly do this?

Not sure who your source is, but generally some info is meant to be kept internal for obvious reasons.
In any case, our monitoring is up and running. If you want to discuss internal matters I'd prefer to do so via PM, as a public forum really isn't the place to do so.

Good thing you get 300 TC minutes because I've wasted 4 of them already just trying to do normal bloody internet stuff. It was mentioned it will get better this evening, well it's this evening and we have the same old same old going on. I think I'm done, will move next month, buggerit.

I'm into my 2nd TurboCharge for the evening already... Gonna hafta buy bandwidth at a competitor to be able to do anything online
