Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback (Pt3)

Update: Cannot load a league of legends match or a "Find a game: Competitive" match in CS:GO. Packet loss goes mental and the line basically disconnects. I can however play on a normal server in CS:GO. Arma 3 works perfectly.
 
Same story... Been suffering with packet loss for weeks now. Decided to cancel and test another ISP.

Sent. Also why does Gmail load up SO slowly on uncapped but fine on other accounts? I'm telling you, that shaper of yours is bad news.

Google in general is really slow for me. I have to type whole addresses in the address bar, and ontop of all this when I tested the 1 Gig CAPPED account, I get 2.7mbs dl speed. So I don't know, about to sign up for a 1 gig test account from Web Africa.

Please let me know how the experience is with the Test account that I provided.
 
I really fear all these "Test" accounts that are now being handed out.

It just seems all too familiar :(

The test accounts are our personal capped accounts which we know are working well (and accept multiple connections). We don't have special accounts that operate differently to standard accounts.

Why are your personal accounts working well while ours are up to cr*p? And indeed they are I used one last night and it was amazing.

Our accounts are regular capped accounts, we actually sign them up through ClientZone just as any client would.
 
Okay so your uncapped accounts are utter rubbish, but your capped accounts are working well. The double deal you have on anytime data, means that if I get the 75+75gb capped package, I'd get 150gb anytime and 75gb midnight?

If this is the case I'd be more than happy to switch to a capped account as you guys really have been very helpful and extremely polite :)

The Capped accounts have Double Data Enabled, so it is 75GB of data plus an additional 75GB of data that you can use at any time.

I may just through in a bit of extra data since you have been patient and willing to help us quite a bit! :)

I appreciate the gesture a lot :)

But the pings I get on Web Africa and the 240gb midnight data at R100 less is just too good :(

In all honestly, when I went into a game of League today on the 1gb test account and my ping was at 230 - 240ms, I changed to the Web Africa test account and my ping was a stable 195 (Anything under 200 is more than sufficient for me). Last night when I used the test account it was really good, and earlier today as well, but occasionally it would just go up to 230 - 240ms and sit there for a while. Where as the WA account has been stable throughout, my highest priority is stability. I don't sit and play games all day so when I do I'd like to have an enjoyable experience.

That difference in Ping is actually something we're investigating from our side.

For all intents and purposes the latency and ping should be almost identical, but as you pointed out, there is consistently a 20ms to 30ms difference.
