relaxed shaping lekker after hours this .......
Soz, I know you reps are not at fault but I will be taking the plunge and moving along. Didn't want to, tried to stick with it but I can't pay for service like this unfortunately.
I still don't understand how demand has increased so much after the first 2 months of the year. Beginning of the year I was unshaped almost 24/7 and then it started again with shaping nearly 20 hours a day.
51mins left of turbocharge. Restarted router twice. So...whenever your Turbo feels like kicking in. That'd be nice...
It should start up almost instantly.
Do you have any tests that I can look at on where the poor experiences are coming in?
What tests am I supposed to show? I'm trying to finish a war thunder update which is capping out at 1mbit. I try downloading an nvidia driver update as a test after each router reset, 700kbps. Now at 38mins left. Still nothing.
Also no, Turbo has NEVER EVER started instantly for me.
What's your torrent throughput like?
Also, what line speed do you have?
4mbit. Torrents are maxing at 20kB/s. The torrent itself is fine since it was running at full speed this morning before the shaper hammer came down.
20mins left, still nothing.
Whats going on with Afrihost the last couple of days? I struggle to get into google.co.za, My other friend who is also on Afrihost is reporting the same thing. Most other sites load fine, but google is a no go.
On Webafrica and Vodacom Google loads just fine.
Which web browser are you using at the moment? And which DNS is your modem set to use?
Chrome. I was using the Afrihost DNS and switched to the Google DNS to see if that would help. About 30 minutes after I switched I am now able to go onto Google again. Will monitor and report back if it starts acting up again.
There have been quite a few issues with Chrome specifically over the past few days, would you mind seeing if switching to a different web browser helps at all.
