Best thing about mybb you get a faster update on the network here than on the isp sites.
Nntp - 7KB/s
We had a very brief international outage last night, corresponds with the posts here. Apparently there was an issue with traffic routed via London. We reported the issue just before 11pm which was acknowledged and resolved by MTN around midnight last night. The issue would affected overseas services, or access to international servers, but also affected latency on the network in general. Services should have returned normal at 12, and should be so now.
Can anyone confirm that things are A-OK?
Why was your site not updated? I've checked and it said "Network fully operational"
Once again we were in the dark.....

The issue was acknowledged and resolved well within an hour. With it being such a late hour, it was not possible to update the website or SMS clients. HAd the impact and downtime been more severe, we would have done so.
+1. Email us or maybe open a thread here where we can subscribe to being notified of posts informing when there are network problems! It was severe, there IS plenty of "what's up doc" here even a "don't bother asking Afrihost support just look here" The SMS route would have been over the top but the "network status" could have been changed. It should not be too much trouble to change the "network status"
It actually tee's me off when I see nntp news from Astraweb crawling along at 6KBs and the staus page sayig all is normal!
It would be very sad indeed, let's hope it doesn't come to that. I've given this straight to our special ops team, and they should get back to you today, once they've done a little digging into the issues you've reported.
