And? Afrihost sends some people a sms to say there is a network problem. There is a notice on Afrihost main page. There is umpteen messages here to say there is a network problem. So......... what is the point of your "tests"?

I'm having a weird situation here in Durban, and I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue? When I do a speedtest to MTN Joburg, the pings are faster than MTN Durban?!?!? Am I the only one experiencing this? Surely wit the new IPC I should get faster pings to anywhere in Durban than Johannesburg? :/

What I can say is the network is coping with the rerouted traffic, though pings are not ideal for CT based clients.
any relief in site??? and no not the R50 kind....
ergo the network is NOT coping.
Pings not idea for a subsetl does not mean the network is not coping.
