I'm not sure I understand which package you're referring to, there was a once off special similar to this. Send me a PM so we can discuss what will work best for you

Same here (CPT) on Afrihost / IS capped account - the latency is all over over the place.

General problem in CPT on IS backbone today by the looks of it. Tried another IS-based account and same crap speeds this morning.

How big is your hard drive? How much can one download on a 10 meg line in one day.

86.4GB a day, assuming 1MB/second sustained.

haha nice. No my storage crisis comes from sending a flakey 3TB back to the supplier - they said 2 weeks turn-around time.

Ive also noticed that there is a about a 50% reduction on my line speed during business hours every day

Support blamed it on congestion but my other accounts working fine proves otherwise. Still waiting on an update from them.

Agreed. From 7am to 5pm my torrents were barely managing 0,1kb/s today....after 5pm back to at least 100kb/s.

Edit: Must be some type of shaping/throttling on torrents during the day. Torrents maxed out till 10am this morning then died.

Well the accounts are shaped during the day so slow torrents are fine.
But the speed limiting on the entire account during the day is just :wtf:

I agree , isn't that throttling ?

I rate rather shape the daylights out of torrents etc and at least let http, https and voip have full line speed.
