So after more testing with regards to the PS3 updates issue. It happens on capped and uncapped for me. On bigger updates it will fail. Guaranteed.

With another ISP I don't have this problem.

Strange. Did a couple of gigs on plugg. Used all my topup GBs. Back on AH, experiencing the same issues again.

Wanted to ask how you guys are finding things such as downloads of torrents as well as newshosts etc on the accounts with them?

Currently on an mweb 1mbps account and so far my speeds this month in newlands are slower than my cell phone downloads things at :/

Would you guys say that a 4mbps line is well worth it?

for the past few months afrihost was like super fast i have been like super happy torrents , downloads, newshosts, etc i was about to upgrade to a 4mmb line from a 2mb now from the first of may my speed dropped download speeds are super slow

Where do you stay?

I have been having the same problem with mweb :(

Could any of you experiencing problems related to PSN downloads provide any form of trace routes to help us diagnose the problem so that we can get it fixed?

2Mb line (canna make it go any faster, due to distance from exchange).

1Mbps uncapped account.

QoS is kicking in. Lovely.

Kids watching bugs bunny on youtube. Daddy downloading latest Smoothwall ISO, and streaming classical music.

And posting on myBB all the same - no hiccups.

We're flatlining the line :D Wish it could go faster, but ah well...

The PSN connected to this address upon access:
http://feu01.ps3.update.playstation.net/update/ps3/list/eu/ps3-updatelist.txt

Most of the browsing activity is just the loading of images. Here are two examples:

Here's a link to a game:

You try ping or trace route any of that...

Thanks for the info. We have pulled all the stats we could and have passed it on to the network engineers to investigate further.

Will provide feedback as soon as we receive any feedback.

Hi there.

You will be billed pro-rata for the remainder of May on the data.

If you telkom line is with us, then there will be no extra charge for your line. You are transferring your line to us, then we will bill you pro-rata for you line from when you line is active with us.

Ok, so you guys just billed me for the 50Gb account and I also just paid for my ADSL line with Telkom. Both payments were basically for the month in advance.

When would be the best time to swop over to you guys?...line and data....without obviously paying more than I should.
