I don't know the full implementation details, but I know we will only be moving users across is small controlled groups. This way we can monitor performance and fine tune the network as we go along. Our primary concern is stability and quality, so we will be operating on both MTN and IS until we are confident.
We will continue to partner with IS, so we will have fallback plans if necessary. But we truly believe that this will be a positive move and Afrihost clients are going to be in "the pound seats"

My only issue - Why not provision your own bandwidth? Afrihost must have enough clients to warrant that? Then you can manage the throttling/shaping at your own discretion.
But hey, if this is what will work for you, then so be it
