Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback

There were some routing issues that were causing all sorts of hiccups (esp HTTPS) yesterday, but these should have been cleared up.

Still having the same issues today?

You were lucky. My capped and uncapped accounts were pathetic last night. I gave up around 9 last night. Did not even check this morning before work.
 
i actually did check this morning before i left to work and it did seems alot better than last night,
seems to be sorted, will double check tonight when i get home.
 
just did a test on my capped account and the dowload is 0.26 upload 0.40 to the paris server, trying to use the 2gb i have left on the capped account but at this rate looks like i will loose it :(

anyone else find the accounts slow tonight ?
 
Just signed up to AH from Mweb and so far its not a good sign!
4Mbps account - 0.32 Mbps up and 0.35Mbps down! :wtf:

Update: It seems to be back to normal now.

Afriman, I took advantage of the offer and I have been billed a full R400 this month, instead of R80. Please help!

You said implicitly that I would get one pro rata month (August) and one full one (September) :cry:

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally glad it works for some. I'm hoping it's going to get better with the move to MTN. I might be back then.
 
Just check your statement to see if a credit was applied against the full amount. That will show what you were actually billed.

You can check in Clientzone, but PM me if it's still not making sense.
 
Experiencing really slow internets today with Afrihost on 384 Uncapped. Speeds are currently half that of dial up :(

I got a 7 day trial from M-Web today.

These "terrible" speeds from AH are getting to me.
 
i got my line upgraded to 2 mbps.Yeah!!!
What tipe of speeds do you guys get??

Still says R397... I thought if Afriman said it, it is so :(
