Same here, been that way the whole day today. Last week I did not have this problem on the uncapped account. My speedtest is not even loading and getting 30kbps download speed while i'm suppose to be getting 110kbps+.

The way things is looking now, I bet you i'm moving to MWeb if Afriman does nothing about our complaints. Im not paying for a 512kbps speeds and expect my 1Mbps.

I have it from a reliable source that once they move over to MTN performance will be back to where it's meant to be. Roughly a week gents.

Well, they can at least put up a network status telling us that the network will be slow because they are moving to MTN, but instead they leave us in the dark wondering.

Same sand_man from iPhoneZA? How reliable is this source?

Network running at pathetic speeds at the moment.

I would jump ship to MWEB in an instant if their prices weren't so darn expensive compared to AH... :(

I'll pay any price as long as I get my full 1Mbps speeds the whole day, they can shape me during the night because I never download then.

Dont know what the people working at Afrihost is thinking, WHY go over to MTN when Internet Solutions worked great, they never had problems and my speeds were perfect.

Why don't you get a 10mb/s uncapped data bundle then, you'll definitely get full 1Mbps speeds the whole day...
IMHO it's a stupid comment to make saying you'll pay any price...

on a 2Mb and only get 1Mb speeds ... this is ridiculous ....its after 7pm ... so what is the excuse!!!
might as well downgrade to 1Mb .. at least then I wil be getting what i pay for :)

Looks like the speeds is getting better the later it gets. Tomorrow morning it is back to 0.20Mbps again I guess.

Download Speed: 819 kbps (102.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 404 kbps (50.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 188 ms

true, but MWeb is always fast, I know for a fact cause my friends all use mweb.

I hate calling AH and have to listen to this woman tell me that Afrihost is the home of pure internet joy :mad::mad::mad:

It's not giving me any Internet Joy at the moment, just "Pure Internet RAGE"!!

My speeds in PE are down to poop again.....AfriMan, is this something we can expect every week? It is now 8:00pm at night and I am getting less than half my speed again! I guess one week of great speeds is not bad for the month :-)
So it is back to IS with you lot then.....time for even MORE IPC......
