Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback

It might be related to a IPC issue as everyone in the Western Cape seems to have a issue with gaming latencies.

I am in JHB and my latency is horrid.

I am using IS untill Afrihost fix their problem on the MTN network, can't bare the 250ms latency and rubber banding in games.

I truly believe that Afrihost WANT to fix this problem, but just don't know how. Unfortunately, it might come down to actually getting someone that has the power to change things to sit down and PLAY the game at a time when the latency is terrible.

I'm happy to assist in any way I can.

So is P2P working on the MTN Network? Are you being restricted like IS is restricting? Is it safe for me to leave Afrihost/IS with my 2meg uncapped package and move to MTN? Will I also be restricted speedwise after 50 GB? Thanks

Looking to come over to Afrihost, was with Openweb, but got utterly frustrated with the lack of service from a 1Mb Gold account during the day.. so looking to try a new ISP..

I just wanted to know is it better if i wait for the 1st to sign up or can one sign up this week and will billing work?
