Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback

I've had no problems with my 2MB line since I moved over to Afrihost on Wednesday. I did report problems with S3 but I found out today that there was some serious problems with Amazon and they experienced a massive outage on Monday and have not yet resolved the cause till next week.

I've done 22GB since Thursday without issue.

The CT Afrihost IPC is behaving nicely.
 
OK, it seems everything just turned to **** for me at least. Extreme packet loss on voice over IP, making it almost impossible to hear what others are saying. Games are lagging equally much. Now trying a download, and I'm getting roughly 15kB/s when it is not timing out.

Hey AfriMan. There seems to be an issue with Adsl authentication in our area (051924). No one working at call center. Sent PM. Seems the problem is persisting since yesterday late morning.

Please assist. Thanks
 
Things are still quite bad today. Less bad than yesterday, but I still only get around 15kB/s out of my internet connection.

Soz,my bad,4meg account running at 8meg downloading atm,must be using your bandwidth :whistle:

Must say that D3 behaved a lot better as well this weekend Newz downloads steam rolled as well. There seems to be still some kinks to sort out but a lot better than it was post switch over. Now we just need that CPT IPC ;)
 
Hi,

Does anyone have experience with the business uncapped account? I see it states "Unshaped Business Bandwidth" will that affect my daily downloads and my D3 ping negatively or is it a better option than home uncapped?
 
Internet was much better over the weekend.. from youtube, browsing and Dota 2 pings were alot better sitting at 218ms to 250ms..

Have any of you guys realised that SAIX routes international to this new ip range that Afrihost/Axxess use for their ADSL:
