Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback

I'm still being throttled to exactly 120KB/s on everything. 4Mbit line.

I see OpenWeb has free standard uncapped for the rest of November, sounds like an awesome option right now.

Thanks Afrihost, it was great until the beginning of November but it has seriously sucked big time since then. Hope you come right with the teething problems and maybe see you again some day.

Perfect speeds...now I see most servers are down though...definitely not Afrihost problem though.

can only be from a local server and close by.... international nothing is under 290ms

why when you get Afrihost to manage your line for you, they dont automatically bundle it for you... the bundle has a saving of about R100 a month but if you dont do it yourself... surely that should be automatic...??? where my 4 month refund??

Because if they do, there will probably still be complaints.

Anyway, it's better than most of the week. Little bit unstable, but getting there.

It seems that I have been throttled to exactly 512kbps... No matter how many concurrent downloads I start over how many protocols, I get exactly 512kbps max now on a 2Mbps line/account.

I tried to play BF3 on my PS3 tonight and it was really bad. I will be honest and say I also experienced problem while using my Telkom account last month when I last played so do not want to give Afrihost the complete blame.

I'm doing some dev work instead tonight and between my updates, svn pulls, sync, rara.com streaming everything is running 100%. I've actually found an improvement in the last 48hours in over experience.

My rara.com is streaming the best since I signed up two weeks ago.
