And the driver download failed at 13%. Internet on my computer is now EXACTLY as slow and useless as on my MTN cellpone.

I am also struggling with Afrihost since the switch over. I am situated in Secunda, ping times to Jozi servers after 6pm is usually between 700ms to 1300ms. I'm on a 2M line, and speed test results jump between almost max to about 200kb between tests. Not able to stream radio at 22kb reliably at the moment, let alone trying to watch anything from youtube.
I have sent Afriman a mail, got a reply that they are working on the issues but I guess I will have to switch if this continues for much longer.
Which ISP is a good & reliable alternative? I dont need uncapped, use about 15G max per month?
This is Really frustrating!
Anyone syncing between Toodledo and Outlook using gSyncit?
I can no longer sync using my uncapped account. I keep getting the following error: Error = Error while updating item. Unable to connect to the remote server
I can still sync without a problem using a capped 1GB Afrihost account.
Any ideas?
ive just switched over to the uncapped from Afrihost... will stick it out till next year as i am writing exams atm.
Product: Afrihost 1Mbps uncapped Adsl

pings are ridiculous! my speed is slightly slow but i have reason to blame Telkom for it. (my mate down the road is on 4Meg and is only getting 3 on an Mweb uncapped account
Thas pretty normal. Problem is people dont have references. Uncapped accounts never perform like capped accounts. At least your mates Mweb line is consistent.

Seems 2 meg p/h is max on 6mbs sync.Started an 8GB nntp download at 8Pm. It finished at midnight. 6mb line.
Seems ok for me. Beginning to wonder if it is not an area(s) exclusive problem.
