Does it really matter? If things turn to crap a few months from now you can just leave. Afrihost will stop billing you immediately if you give notice before the 23rd.

Yes. Not fond of changing ISP's every few months. With Crystal I can be pretty assured of not doing it unless something seriously changes for the worst in their approach and business model.

Yeah, but CW are the Rolls-Royce of SA ISP's. You get a premium service at a premium price. Many people are willing to accept a lesser service to save a few hundred a month.

Then there's no excuse to not go with CW. I need a fair bit of data though - CW charges R949pm for 425GB and Afrihost charges R498pm for 400GB. That's a difference of R451, or 90% more expensive.

I have been on a Vox fatpipe for 4 months.
I started with afrihost. I moved when the Afriplus BS came into being. I changed to Web africa.

DO NO DO IT! it will take months to cancel your Free account, they do not answer support calls, and while they do not shape and latency is relatively low, the bundles are the wrong way around.

we only use about 50 GB a month streaming, and I found for our Needs Vox is the best. I cannot comment on CW however.

Ouch. That's a bummer then. I guess Crystal is expensive on the capped products then.

Total: 917

Afrihost Premium Uncapped:
Data: 397
Telkom Line + Voice: 488
Total: 885

Thus, R32 difference. And you get much better support from Crystal.
