There is a massive Afrihost Vuma fibre outages in the Bloemfontein area.
It has been over 48 hours.
Feedback from neighbourhood watch groups indicate it is a very large number of people without internet.

The problem was briefly shown on the Afrihost fibre status website, but has been removed without being fixed.

Contacting Afrihost support to even just log such an issue takes forever and feels like the process was designed so customers give up.
It is like starting an only fans page for tech. How many pictures of my router do you want, the front side or do you want to see the holes.

Morning.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused. The outage was marked as resolved with Vuma, which is why we removed it from the Network Status Page. If you are still experiencing a fault, we can log a fault for you.

Hi

I need assistance ASAP, I paid for my WiFi on Sunday but it’s still not working.

This is for a Migration, Afrihost has not been helpful @ all. The everyday response it was escalated to Vuma & Vuma has not replied to the yet.

This has been happening for the whole week, even today when I spoke to them I was told a ticket was escalated to Vuma for assistance.

I’m tired, irate & impatient @ this present moment.

This is the ticket number I was given this morning :
Please see ref sent for resoluiton of this matter : TICKET ID

I just wrote a complaint about this to them. Their first line problem solving is infuriating for a somewhat tech savvy individual.
