Had my Afrihost package relocated recently, Vumatel came in on Wednesday to install it the new line at the new premises.
I was told by the technicians by end of the day the line should be active, so I thought great Internet by EOD. Come Wednesday evening still only 1 blinking power light.
Thursday I phoned both @Afrihost and @Vumatel to see what was happening and neither of them could give me a proper answer. I got an email from Vumatel saying there would be an unscheduled site visit, so I phoned Vumatel back to let them know that I am on site for the rest of the week and if they need access to the property to let me know, the lady rudely put the phone down mid conversation.
I just want an update on where the line activation is and if there are issues how can they be solved, but been very disappointed with Vumatel so far (they the only fiber infrastructure people in my road) having previously been with Openserve for around 7 years…
Anyone from Vumatel or Afrihost sees this, lets sort this issue out so we can actually have working internet to do our jobs hey?
