Has anyone else experienced billing problems
I have just recieved an SMS to let me know I have used 4Gb of my 5Gb mobile DATA
The modem is turned off and in the boot of my car?
WTF?

Oh and I only get 2G here so don't think it's accurate

I think Afrihost has given me chronic high blood pressure this week,

No response from support though?

Possibly delay SMS! That could be your usage on the last month of September.

Don't stress if your device is off it is off, also logon to clientzone and you can check your usage.

P.S Don't get a heart attack/high blood pressure calm down it is still begin of the month - no bill shocker remember that if it was a bill shocked then u would probably die :P
 
Exact same SMS from Afrihost today. I checked my October bandwidth, and it is 100% intact, so assumed it was delayed from September.

Oddly enough, I didn't get any SMS or emails last month, although I had finished all the bandwidth and all my notification settings on Afrihost was on
 
I got an sms at about that time, for another product. Afriman says there might have been a delay somewhere.

I don't blame for the delay SMS(courtesy they should include a date on the sms), if you sending over 30000+ afrihost mobile sms notifying customers of their usage :), bound to happen cause on said day u could receive 3 SMS, 50 percent, 75 percent,100percent

It's never happened with my AH sms'es before though, so we're guessing that there was a bottleneck somewhere along the line.

Really about this. The whole is to have no shocks or heart attacks relating to Mobile Data, it's really not what we want our clients to experience.

Please PM me so I can check this out for you :(

We do seem to be experiencing some strange delays with some of our SMSs. Our team are investigating this :(
