Well Aion`s headstart for pre -orders start tonight. (21:00)
So less than an hour to go..
After having got myself sorted with a working Aion copy from a friend that stays in my area..

Im capped at the moment so heres hoping i can play tonight.
Will report throughout the next month on ingame performance of Aion on Iburst.

Firstly on capped connection and then next month on a pre-capped line.
 
Also, please, find out how much it takes traffic for 1 hour gaming, etc.
 
I heard the bandwidth requirements are quite high, about 4mbps required. Anyone can verify this?
 
I played (even though just questing) upto level 5 last night.
It was flawless even on my capped connection.
The guys at NCsoft really have some amazing network-coding since the starting area was swamped with people everywhere and yet not a single lag spike on 64k (capped) connection.
The response on spellcasting is instantanious.
World of wacraft died in my mind last last night.

As they say :"It aint over till the fat lady sings" but so far Aion + Iburst looks good.
Will report more once i step into dungeons and raids and pvp where the connection is bound to be put through its paces more vigorously.

My advise , unless you technically informed what to do , forget it.
Wait for the retail release on the 25th where it should be a straight install.
 
servers are jam packed at the moment. No issues on stability. I reckon though they are definitely gonna need more servers hehehe
All of them are full so a bit of a cue time to login.

login problems

Hi guys i have serious problems with this game. i got it today i registered it and paid for 1 month. so now i can't login to the game or any other place like the forums. exept for my account page.help me plz.
 
I Had A problem aswell is it giving you the error message login failed incorrect username or password somthing like that? If it is you need to go into the ncsoft launcher and click on file then setting, advanced tab and make sure Europe is selected otherwise it will try to log you onto the north America servers which ofc wont work cause your account is based in europe

Okay so cap reset incoming soon.
So far i can report that aion is playable if you solo quest while capped.
Will report on dungeons and grouping from cap reset .

Lets hope aion is more trouble free
than wow used to be.
If not the iburst modem will end up on the floor
a new doorstop for my door
and i will support iburst no more.

hehehe.

lol Same here Dusk, so far i have had no problems with Aion on iburst even in heavly populated areas with me and my GF on the same connection but need to test it in groups. But if it gives me any trouble i will take great pleasure in booting my iburst modem out the window.

PS... Hey shaun any news on when those 2meg connection is out ?
 
How is the pings on Aion??

Do u guys play the Pay-To Play server or still on beta (or has the beta been canceled)

??

What is the Official pricing for 3months / 6 months to play Aion (think u get discount if you buy 3months in advance)
