Alarm shows "zone open"

So the tech came and he seems to be confused as well.
He short the sensor at the sensors, and the zone closed. But even he couldn't understand why all the PIR, beams and door sensors won't work at the same time.

Pretty sure that blue box on top is your remote receiver.
U are right. I have that long pipe on this alarm and one more on the electric fence. The Alarm guy said the fence uses this to communicate with the alarm. But I still dont understand then how my remote works from outside the house, the distance is quite much to work that long.

Those receivers are 100m without interference, I think the cable is to activate the alarm if the fence gets activated.

Check the power supply to your passives. They may get power from a separate supply and not from the main panel
This was the issue.
So the zone extension board or whatever the technical term is, has it's own AC power supply, this was connected to a multi plug which was faulty.
Replaced it and its working

new issue :
One of the three door sensors were showing as open.
Opened it up and saw everything was rusted inside. bought an identical one and swapped it. Still shows us open.
What am I doing wrong ??

Voltage across the terminals of the sensors is 4.25 with the door open and zero with the door closed.
I cross-checked with a working door sensor and its the same there.

Do you have end of line resistors?

Do you have end of line resistors?
yes.
The only difference is the working door has a green one(no strips to indicate resistance) and I bought a 3K one.

Edit : I think the green one is a 1K resistor.

The eol resistors would normally need to be of the same resistance (as per the alarm panel specifications)

ok, I will try to re-use the old resistor. Maybe solder bigger leads because when i pulled the old one out it broke

it worked ! the test was successful .
I had soldered the old resistor longer leads but it fell off when I was soldering the alarm wire back. But at least I know it works. I will get a 1K resistor tomorrow. Thanks Everyone

Hi All, please help. I was messing with my Paradox system trying to activate StayD and it seems like I messed up one of my zones. Issue is one of my sensors is showing as open. To arm, I now need to bypass.
