Alarm shows "zone open"

Everything was working then last night one sensor on the alarm started showing Open and now all the PIR sensors and the beams are showing open. I dont know whats wrong and couldn't find any troubleshooting steps online.
I removed the battery to test the voltage and its showing 13.4 which means its not a battery issue.
Any other steps I can do before I call the tech ? its a paradox K32LCD+

I had a similar issue with my paradox system. The alarm tech asked me to power off the main plug and unplug the battery for a few minutes and then power on the main plug and then plug in the battery. This worked for me, all the open beams were closed after that.
 
When my alarm was installed in Jan this year one of my door switches started acting up. Randomly becoming open when the door is closed. The tech eventually switched out the resistor on that sensor and it came right after that. They initially used their own resistors instead of the resistors that came in the box. I have a Paradox EVO192 alarm

I did that today morning when I was testing battery. Everything was unplugged for almost 15 mins. Dint work.

What happens if you take out the wire going to the sensor, should be zone and common wire, and then bridge those two connections? I would also check the current programming for that zone and see if it is still correct.

I have a cheap alarm Phong Kong system and had a similar problem...there was something up with the electronics in that door sensor...The alarm would be activated and then sometimes it would act as though the door was open and then trigger the alarm...Found another one from a different system in a box of scrap crap...fitted it and no issues...! In my case I thnk that reed sensor was kaput.
 
Are all PIR zones still showing this issue now? or just the origional?

If it were me I would bridge that zone out with a resistor and see if it resolves the issue, then it is either the cable, the existiing resistor or the PIR itself.

all the zones are showing an issue now, the red light on the sensor was on initially, now everything is off.
I dont think I have a resistor around, I can pull one out from one of my sons broken toys, Or I can use my vape wire, make a coil and measure it on my ohm meter as an alternative.
what resistance is required for this test ?

1K resistor.

as per @krieg paradox takes a 1K.

weird that many zones are showing open though...sounds more like a board fault to me at this point
 
Check the power supply to your passives. They may get power from a separate supply and not from the main panel

I know mine has a daughter board for extra zones so that’s why I’m wondering about it.

Would be right at the main board.
 
sometimes it is to the left of the main board but seperate attached to the case
 
This is how it looks.
All the boards have lights flashing on them

My money is on this. If your wired zones are all fine then it could be whatever is powering your PIRs that could be causing issue.
