Alcohol and nicotine.

We're going to have to think of something other than "fatty fatso" to call copa behind his back soon.

Yep.

Weight loss, and a decided lack of the sort of chaos caused by excessive drinking. :D

*edit*

Also, have not touched a cigarette during this period, either.
Is not life a bit of a drag with out some decent vices ?? :D

@raind33r - how old are you? In my twenties I yo-yoed between 88kg and 92kg and drank like the shait will be gone tomorrow. Never gain any real weight. Then I hit 30, got married, still drink none stop and is now (36) on 120kg. I think one is more prone to gain weight on this life style if you're getting older and less excercise. Back then I used to play rugby, quit when I was 28. Now I play the occasional squash game.
I stopped smokking a few times, lasting about a year at a time. Hope the next time is the one.

@Copa - Congratz, great stuff.

Completely agree with beans on this one...

When i was younger I could drink and eat and do whatever the hell I wanted and would sit between 80-85kg's quite happily.... 31 now and I'm watching my weight climb (now nearly 100kgs) whilst i do the same things... so I'm starting to cut down on the alcohol (mostly) and trying to quit smoking as well....

Right, well.

I had two small glasses of sparkling wine, to celebrate the acquisition of a job by a friend. This started off a chain of psychological events that led me to having a couple of cigarettes, and a hunger for more alcohol.

Close call.

This was a couple of days ago, so no worries now.

Gotta be more careful FFS.
