The SS/Deye inverter will always use available PV where possible. I don't think you can set it to limit PV even if you wanted to.Can the smart people here please explain how I'm being dumb.
On Sunday I had a load of 6KW and battery at 35% (the minimum level I allow during that timeslot). PV was generating 4KW and 2KW coming from Municipal supply.
I then set the battery minimum to 30% assuming I would get 4KW from PV and 2KW from battery. However this was not the behaviour. Battery was being discharged at 5KW and PV throttled to 1KW.
Have I messed up settings somewhere?
Maybe a cloud/shade at the wrong time? Or some weird adjustment as settings were changed.
Not easy to replicate i guess, but worth trying again to test? Or does it use proper PV amount now?
