All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

Did the inverter at least log it under the Device Info menu?

I do suspect it must be something on the grid. I had a situation the other day where my prepaid meter was ‘clicking’ for about 5 minutes before the power eventually came on. And I heard a what sounded like an electrical buzz outside somewhere in the neighbourhood… or maybe the sounds are all in my head
I never checked

Has anyone else had seemingly random loud beeps coming from their inverter? I have a Deye 5kw, and just after the grid went off my inverter made a couple loud beeps a minute or two apart.

There’s no alarm or fault codes under device info, no alarms from the battery. It is definitely not overloaded and DC and AC temps are all under 60 degrees. Absolutely no other indication of anything being wrong.

Donno if my Renault is rubbing off on the inverter and teaching it about random beeps….
Our Deye 8kw Inverter beeps for 30 seconds like clockwork when the grid returns after loadshedding. Can't find a way to turn it off so just on my ignore list in my head.

As luck would have it, the power is back in my neighbourhood, but now my meter is doing its clicking thing again and I still don’t have grid power. But doubt that’s the inverter’s fault.

Just an update on this - Sunsynk pushed the new firmware update to my inverter. Post update the NRS097 grid type setting is now available, along with all of the other grid settings tabs.
As a matter of interest did you see the grid "trickle charge" go up after the update?

I can't say that I did, but I have had mine set to 110W previously. That being said, I do think it annoying if they are forcing a minimum value, since it should be up to the user's discretion imo.

Yeah, the new value should be around 100W.

Arg, SunSynk dongle has been working perfectly fine, suddenly I couldn’t access my plant via the app on my iPhone so went to check the physical unit which inly has the red light on, no green as it normally would. Our fibre line is fine, WiFi router is fine, a reboot of the router did nothing, WiFi router says the dongle is connect but no data transfer taking place, so now what do I do?

P.S. yes, probably time to chuck the clunky and unreliable SunSynk dongle and app for Solar Assistant.

SunSynk support says there are, surprise, surprise, technical server issues, arg.

SunSynk support is kak
Sunsynk is being ripped a new one on PF.

Anyone have any issues on time settings? I noticed this morning the inverter time keeps jumping around by hours. I checked the timezone in the app, everything is fine.

I had a few years ago, due to the SS server region's TZ being incorrectly set. Very frustrating. Change it on the inverter though, not the app.

Hi Comrades

Having issues with the app and inverter - not reporting any data. Is this only me? See pic below for what i can see currently

Mine seems to be down since 8:50... not sure on the problem. But I rarely use the app so doesn't bother me too much

This latest outage has exposed a downside to SO's new, larger car: I can't get around to the wall on her side of the garage anymore. Ended up stretching with my phone, just managing to touch one of the buttons on the inverter and then standing on the opposite side of her car and zooming into the screen with my phone to read the stats!

Never seen the actual inverter screen have zero stats during a server/App outage. You guys also seeing zero's?
