All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

So far I've heard that 1) The app on the google play store doesn't support editing your inverter settings - it's view only. 2) There is a newer version of the app (APK file) on the solarman.cn website which can be downloaded and installed for these features. 3) You may have to request that these features are enabled by the Solarman team as they are disabled by default.

I haven't been able to confirm yet but I am very suspicious of apks that aren't on the play store. Why aren't they updating the play store app - is it because they have incorporated stuff that would fail Google's checks? Call me paranoid, but it's always Chinese firms that do this.
Which APK would this be?
I got a rental option for my solar, does this mean that I'll never get Business access as the owner (GoSolr) likely won't relinquish?

So then my peak capacity would dip down to 4500W, but I’ll be making 2250W at the crack of dawn and another 2250W very late into the afternoon so I reckon it’s a win win.

Basically spend no money other than solar panels and adding another battery.

How much pushing my luck would it be running more than 10? I guess 11 would probably be okay but not make much sense for balance and have a loss there again while 12 would be definite problems.

I have 6 Jinko 470w panels on each of West and East.

It creeps up to 2.kw by 10am, its 3.48kw right now (at 10:38) and it will go up to about 4.9kw soon. That seems to be the peak, only day 3 for me.

Any suggestions on a 12way surface mount DB? My local supplier is pushing Chint but I think it's kak quality but they say they don't have stock of anything else.

While we're on the subject, any suggestions on a battery busbar / box for splitting my battery to my two inverters?
or

Does anyone use Art Solar panels? They are supposedly manufactured in New Germany, KZN.

Art Solar 500W
I have heard of them buy haven't used them.
I think they are the company Andre de Ruyter referred to when he said their local only procurement policy was a hindrance because the local guys couldn't manufacture enough panels for the demand

Segen supplied and my installer is in the village where I live, he's just over the wall with other stuff. I want to make sure it's ready for him to connect.
Then he should be on the Segen Sunsynk Whatsapp support group. He can request the upgrade interactively.
