Sorry if this has been covered, but not finding anything obvious.
I have Sunsynk 5Kw inverter + Hubble AM2 5kw.
Today during the tail end of a 4 hour load shedding session (+-13:30pm), my battery hit 20% (The configured shutdown %), and obviously we lost power (my pool pump was running for 3 hours, with a few kettle boils)
I wanted to then see how long it takes to get back to 100%, but when I just checked at about 15:30, I noticed that the battery was on 18%.
Why did it not charge?
I found this thread -
https://powerforum.co.za/topic/1595...grid-when-battery-has-reached-shutdown-level/ - so I went and set the shutdown to 15%, and this seems to have done the trick.
Is this expected behaviour, or is there something else at play here?
I would expect that even though it shut down, it would at least automatically start charging against once the power return.
