Hmm... sounds like a power related issue. Hope the dongle is OK. You only have the one? After not giving single issue for 11 months, my solarman dongle has disconnected from the wifi twice in the last 30 mins. Unplugging it and putting it back in solves the issue, only for it to disconnect a couple of minutes later again. Anybody ever had that happen before?

Seems to be stable again now. Have no idea what happened there.Maybe just like with pc's you should reboot?
Maybe just their servers?Seems to be stable again now. Have no idea what happened there.
It happens to me occasionally. Sometimes they're doing maintenance, sometimes it can't connect to my hotspot. I just leave it now and it comes right by itself. After not giving single issue for 11 months, my solarman dongle has disconnected from the wifi twice in the last 30 mins. Shouldn't have anything to do with their servers - it's all local on my HA instance.Maybe just their servers?
It's a local issue - the dongle disconnected from my wifi. Logging on to other router showed that it wasn't connected anymoreIt happens to me occasionally. Sometimes they're doing maintenance, sometimes it can't connect to my hotspot. I just leave it now and it comes right by itself.
It does mess with the data for that period which is annoying. You end up with nonsense like this...

Nah, we don't use crap.Anyone notice the Sunsynk iOS app stopped showing decimals for PV generation?
Nah, we don't use crap.
It's the iPhone i was referring to.I use Solar Assistant and Home Assistant as well.
But seriously, the app no longer shows anything past the decimal place. It used to show 1 decimal place.
Every milliwatt countsIt's the iPhone i was referring to.
I never fire up the inverter app anymore, everything I need is available on HA. Also, why do you need decimal points on watts?
I don't think you can move it to SA - you would need to have a separate central DB that you can then dump the data into - then do your reporting from thereAnyone found a hax to transfer solarman data to solar assist? I want to move over but don't want to lose all my historic data![]()
Hard pass. LolI don't think you can move it to SA - you would need to have a separate central DB that you can then dump the data into - then do your reporting from there
I do get the need though - I have 6months missing from my SA because i was only using Solarman; then when i got the second inverter i have 3 weeks missing from Solarman because it came with the Sunsynk inverter - its a messHard pass. Lol
I started getting push notifications from the solarman smart app on my phone. Grid disconnects. Not sure what it means. My data looks fine. Nothing missing or gaps. After not giving single issue for 11 months, my solarman dongle has disconnected from the wifi twice in the last 30 mins. Unplugging it and putting it back in solves the issue, only for it to disconnect a couple of minutes later again. Anybody ever had that happen before?
Bliksem, I once had a laser printer that was doing hard duty in Limpopo, started giving issues, when I opened the front cover it looked like this, except it was cockroaches.Yip - this is the printer my wife uses daily - this was in Jan and what prompted our pest control efforts. (they had to come out four times).
It just amazes me how they move in mass, one day there's nothing - and the next day the entire colony has moved.

This happens quite often. People don't realize they need to check these.Ants can get in anywhere. They managed to bring my gate motor to a complete halt. I now treat it every 3 months. We have a big ant problem in the neighbourhood.
