All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

**** never ends - I see pigeons have taken a liking to nesting under the panels - anyone have a easy solution?
There are a few solutions, you can do a simple wire mesh guard or you could go with a skirt if you want something more aesthetically pleasing.

Not sure exactly where to get those skirts locally though.

Is there an acceptable variance in SoC between batteries before it's worth investigating whether there is an issue?

I recently got a 3rd UP5000 installed and notice that they don't discharge at the same rate, sometimes going as far out as 8-10% difference in SoC between highest and lowest battery.

Can anyone help with the steps to reset a Freedom Won battery that's lost calibration and is flashing red every 2 seconds?

I know it's easy, I just need instructions to follow so I don't stuff it up.

The installation manual says to press the reset button for 2 seconds and release.

Batteries should be at virtually identical SoC. Is this a new bank?

Also, are the cables to the batteries the same length and taken from opposite sides of the bank?

Aaah ok. In that case, tune them to come and sort out their kak. Listen to what they have to say and what their plans are. If I were them I would plug in a RIOT for Hubble support to check if they can see anything, or plug in the RS232-USB cable to do a FW update, BEFORE taking it in.

If they WANT/MUST take it in tell them you want a loan battery before they remove yours.

One would hope a rental company (or any installer) would fully firmware update all inverters and batteries before signing off on a site.

My batteries drift further away. But they level of when fully charged or when reaching the shutoff level then the one at the shutoff level stupid discharging until the others reach the same level.

Battery 1 to 3 US3000B
Battery 4 US3000C added 1 year later
Battery 5 UP5000 added another year later

Battery 6 UP5000 to be added soon Screenshot_20230703_205002_Chrome.jpg

Currently sitting with 57%, 55%, 59%. All voltage 49.4v. % Variance not so big currently but it varies.

Connected with double cabling from both end batteries (1 & 3) to busbar box thing. Length looks exactly the same.

Just asked these guys for a quote - was thinking of doing something similiar myself, but I'm so sick of going up the roof - and maintaining this **** house myself.

Rental?
Bought some of these for my gutter downpipes, which have a horizontal section that the doves love.

Had my solar installed yesterday but now I see weird logs that my house is not drawing any power and I am feeding to the grid. I checked this morning and its the same (well Solar being zero for obvious reasons).

Must be a setting right?

Used these on top of the condensor unit for the main bedroom aircon in our old house, they just enabled the ****ing pigeons to build a nest and start a ****ing family  They were utterly useless in deterring them from anything.

May be your CT coil installed the wrong way?

Try tick limit to load only and see if it corrects itself.
