Then I was going through the battery install manual and noticed that my system isn't wired according to how the manual specifies it should be done. I guess it's not wrong but I suspect it will have to be changed when the third battery is added.
This is how my 2 current batteries are connected:

This way looks a lot more practical when having more than 2 batteries.
Also I currently have 2 x 160A fuses for the batteries, would this suffice for 3 batteries (each battery is max 100A) or should these fuses be bumped up slightly?
The battery minimum is set to 30% so it's possible that I just have to wait for it to reach 30% for the error to go away, currently it's at 8%

Yes but when adding the third battery there will be three connectors that need to be attached to each fuse, not sure there will be enough space as the trunking is already basically full. If it's wired battery to battery then it's only one cable going to each fuse.It's the same. Parallel.
I have a battery with only one set of leads and have both connected to a bus box before inverters.
The only trouble you'll have with 3 is getting the leads the same length... In that case paralleling from battery to battery might be better.
Question (probably for the more electrically inclined).
I have two Sunsynk's connected to a 3-phase ATS (automatic transfer switch) with a 20KVA Bundupower generator.
When the gennie fires up (to charge batteries when they're low, during loadshedding), the one inverter is happy, and shows 50Hz from the gennie.
The other shows briefly 50Hz, then drops down to zero, and refuses to charge from the gennie.
Both are connected to a common neutral and 2 of the 3 phases from the gennie. Geysers and non-critical stuff are connected to the 3rd phase, so the loads are fairly balanced.
Anyone seen something like this or have ideas ?
There is an earth-neutral bond as well, shared by the two inverters, but the relay is driven by the primary inverter.

If they have been paralleled then my understanding is that the input, Eksdom or gen, has to come from the same phase.
If they are running independently then I'm not sure what the issue could be.

When the ATS switches over, 3 phases are live from the gennie. 2 phases feed the two SunSynk's and the 3rd, some none-critical loads like geysers etc.

Hubble?So something weird happened to my system over the weekend. The solar adds a new dimension into this space.
My battery depleted itself even though grid charge was on and SOC% was at 25%.
So as follows:
Battery setup shutdown is 20%, restart 50%, low battery 26%.
SOC 50% all round with grid charge all round.
My battery ran out of power during a 2hour slot. I am not sure how and why. All non-essentials were off as it was LoadShedding so not entirely sure what drained the battery. I am not sure what if it shutdown due to it reaching 26% but when all restarted it showed after LoadShedding, the battery is at 1%.
Any ideas? Might have to call my installer back to fix something.

We ran on the battery through the night and charged it via the panels today. Also did some washing and used the normal household stuff. When sun went down, I saw on the Pre-paid meter that we still used about 15 units from this morning. I don't understand on what though if one looks at the data on the app.
What am I missing? (grid charge was disabled for the battery).

My guess would be that one cell was lower than the others and so during loadshedding, the 2 hour window was enough to drain it so that the battery shutdown.BlueNova BP at 5.2kw.

I took a photo of the meter's reading in the morning and compared it late in the day. 100% sure the reading was correct. I'll try again today, but we have loadshedding from 14:00 so I won't be able to replicate yesterday exactly. Will still see what usage the meter indicates vs what the app shows.The inverter says you only imported 1.3kwh from the grid.
Was your prepaid control pad and meter communicating? Maybe they synced old data.
Are you sure you read the start and end correctly?
