I have the sane problem, think it was an update.I might have to apologize to people on this thread for joking about the sunsynk app not sending notifications, it seems mine have stopped as well.
I havent had loadshedding for a few weeks, but had a big power outage in the early hours of this morning.
I didnt receive any notifications that the grid was down.
So I checked on android notifcation settings and the sunsynk app isnt even listed there for notifications. (Thought maybe the notifcations were sleeping)
Also checked permissions and there is nothing related to that in there.
Anyone else on android not getting notifications from the sunsynk connect app anymore?
I also updated to the latest app version to make sure.
Have you got a link to the automation for this?Notifications still working for me on iOS, last loadshedding was Tuesday evening and got both notifications.
Although I have my system linked to HA and my Google Home speaker announces when the power goes down/up![]()

Mine literally just checks the grid frequency from the inverter and if goes below 45 then it triggers the speaker to play (and opposite for power on).Have you got a link to the automation for this?

The HACS Solerman integration also has a “Grid Status” entity that you can trigger automations with.Have you got a link to the automation for this?

I wish the Deye 8kw has this option. It is an extremely irritating sound.
So eventually got around to trying out the "Low Noise" mode.
Anyone know if there is any downside to this mode? Increased wear/less efficiency/batteries spontaneously exploding?
I assume 8K Sunsynk?Quick bit of advise pls chaps.
I have added a second revov 10.1kw 200ah R200 battery to the system in parallel.
Just confirming I increase the capacity to 400ah, increase charge to 120amps but leave discharge at 160 amps??
