All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

Wherever in Retardistan the Ponytail and his cult decided to move the servers to has quite evidently been a complete failure...

Down since 06h46 this AM.

Never seen the actual inverter screen have zero stats during a server/App outage. You guys also seeing zero's?

Yup mine also showing zero across the board. Time does also not match up. Took the picture at 3:39pm. Sun Synk showing 1:53pm.

Anyone have any issues on time settings? I noticed this morning the inverter time keeps jumping around by hours. I checked the timezone in the app, everything is fine.
You can disable auto time sync on the inverter settings.
I had this issue once and disable the setting and been fine since. Not sure of any downsides here.

App still down, sigh..

2nd full day offline this year.

Joel and the ponytail becoming real server room amateur's now. For all we know they're running the whole backend on a self built tower PC on that room that they make YouTube video's in.

Would seriously consider Solar Assistant now if it was plug and play.

My Solar assistant was plug and play, bought from their site with 2 cables and never looked back

Does Sunsynk have a place where they post notifications about outages and maintenance? Luckily I checked this thread to see I'm not the only one that's got zero stats uploaded since this morning at 6:50.

You can check on these Facebook groups whenever u experience issues to see if anyone else is affected too.

Mine also off all day with even the inverter reporting no data.
Date & time on inverter also messed up. Corrected it to only find it wrong again an hour later. I switched off the "Use timer" function for the night as we are scheduled for loadshedding and I don't want to risk running my battery down because of system issues.

Yeah, thank you for mentioning the time issue. My Solar Assistant is still working and shows that I'm pulling power from the grid when I'm not supposed to and I just realised it might be because of the time issue too. I'm not getting out of bed at 5am to confirm that though.

I don't understand why an outage on the server side causes the local time on the inverter to be wrong. Does the inverter not use standard NTP for time syncing?

Yes it does, only problem is that the UI does not allow you to set a local server, you either use theirs, or none. Makes one wonder what's going on in that cloud.

May be an idea to set a local DNS entry up to force it to use my local NTP service...

Mine came back at 08:10 but seems to be missing everything from today before that. PV for the day so far doesn't make sense as well as charge/discharge on battery.
